Thank you guys so much for reviewing Kotter. To the best of my knowledge, it wasn't shown here in Israel back in the day, so I came to know it only in the mid-2000s' when Middle East Television ran it for a while. Always preferred Epstein & Washington's characters. Horshack was very annoying and oddly enough is at his best on a season 4 episode when his character changed after developing a drinking habit. It's also one of the two episodes with Della Reese subbing for Kaplan. Beau's no Vinnie, but I really didn't find him all that disturbing. I also remember John Sylvester White portraying a positive role on Baretta, which was odd considering his stint on WBK. I agree about the gritty look which many of the 70s' videotaped shows had: Barney Miller, Sanford & son and All in the Family, to name a few. Keep up the good work!
