The most I can say for most of these is that I knew they existed--except for a few of them (like Get Smart, of course)! I bet you didn't know that there is a US cable channel called Buzzr that has old game shows all day. Not, I hasten to say, new episodes of old game shows, but the original old episodes. Leaving the stunning level of sexism aside, it's oddly soothing, perhaps because I only ever got to see them when I was home sick from school!

It's ironic that you mentioned during the episode that S9E02 is probably not any listener's first episode, because it is mine (I learned about your podcast from a Twin Peaks podcast). Anyway, I loved My World and Welcome To It when it aired and was heartbroken when it was cancelled. Still a big James Thurber fan. William Windom's daughter on the show, Lisa Gerritsen, also played Cloris Leaachman's daughter on Mary Tyler Moore and Phyllis.

Michael... thanks for taking the time to find us. Hope you find some of our back episodes fun to listen to. It's great to find others who love retro television like we do!
