On this episode...

Dave conquers the Wild Wild West.

Anth dishes out some rich Grady.

We remember Florence Henderson and Ron Glass.

This reminded me of when Conan went on the search for Grady. Unfortunately, it looks like the YouTube Police pulled down the one where Grady actually appeared on Conan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nOBYvm7bMg

OMG! I was watching an episode of PBS's Pioneers of Television just this past Sunday evening (on one of the several PBS stations our cable channel includes in their basic cable package), and it was about Westerns, and they had a segment about Wild Wild West! They did mention the violence, and then they had several guest stars talk about how safe they felt doing the fight scenes in that show, because Conrad knew exactly what he was doing and no one ever got hurt in those fight scenes.

I'll start by saying that Dave's microphone should be checked for flaws, as some very heavy echoing can be heard throughout the show. Other than that: WWW can only be described as the ultimate "escapist fun show" in my opinion, with Ross Martin almost constantly stealing the scene. For the future: I feel that not enough in general is talked about Night Gallery. There's a great pilot and it had a great run up until the middle before Serling gave up & the "blackouts" kicked in. It's long overdue anyhow - give it a shot.

Hi Gordon, That artifact from Zencastr is hilarious.... I think we ought to talk Night Gallery. I really liked that show, there were a few really disturbing ones. Even the one where Arte Johnson was a DJ in a station run by Satan.....
Dave Brodbeck
It was great to hear you podcasting again. Bob will be sorely missed, but somehow it just seems right for the two of you to keep going. Thank you both! I'm all for a Night Gallery ep...
Marc
One which may be even more important is Night Gallery's predecessor - the original Twilight Zone.
