So in "Seeing Things" the "detective" solves crimes by looking for clues and following them...only the clues are all in his mind? Oooooooookay, then. That's totally different than looking at and following clues in real life. Yeah, what you said--this lottery thing is a minute-and-a-half between shows, not a show itself! (As they say, lotteries are a tax on those who don't understand statistics.) ...I know everyone watched "The Wonder Years", but I didn't, and I have no idea why not. What was it up against? Or maybe I was in grad school and just didn't have time? I guess I'll have to look up some episodes now...

The thing about the WIntario broadcast was that besides the one guy I mentioned whose parents watched, I knew absolutely nobody who did. I don't think there were commercials either, as the thing was one big ad for the OLGC. I bet the OLGC paid Global to show them.

Maybe it could be considered an early infomercial, or pay TV, or whatever they call those hour-long ads!

I may be the only one but I fondly remember Seeing Things and when it was on the Mystery Channel (now Crime & Investigation Channel - why the name change?) I managed to record almost all the episodes (on my PC, not VHS or I could do a tape trade with Bob for his old hockey video) and even though it is entirely cheesy Canadian early 80's TV schlock, I still like it. I think I may have watched all the episodes first run because pretty much every one rang bells for me when I watched them. My liking of the show was probably helped by the fact we never had American TV out in the sticks where I grew up. Living in the country there was no cable and we couldn't afford the huge 8 ft satellite dishes of the 80's so I watched A LOT of Canadian TV and I guess my standards were by consequence lower than all of your guys'. Still, as always, love the show and perspectives you guys put on them.
