Three shows totally unknown to me--but a fun episode nevertheless, thank you! BTW, in the book? The Swiss family that was shipwrecked was not named Robinson; no doubt they had some appropriately Swiss name. The "Robinson" was from "Robinson Crusoe."

(And now you can see that I comment as I listen--and accidentally hit the "comment" button early. Oops!)
Rachel
And now that I've listened to the whole show--still true that all three shows are unknown to me, and I still enjoyed listening. :) Yay for you being back! ("The Rivals" makes me go, "Isn't that a play by Sheridan?" They need to be more careful with the foreign titles...)
Rachel

I visted the university of notre dame and other places in south bend got some notre dame stuff from my dad on my birthday it was defenitly a surprise wasn't expecting that now im 42 years old I was thinking about my sister this summer I miss her a lot but anyway way great show to start off the season. loved at the begging when u guys did the heckelers from the muppets that was funny and the old retro burger king commercial. Hey guys, great to have you back! Honoured that Dave chose Project UFO as his first show of Season 7. I was 8 years old when Project UFO came on and after seeing Star Wars and Close Encounters of the Third Kind, I was totally enthralled by space, aliens and UFOs. Hence my fondness for Project UFO. Also, Kleinburg is about an hour and a half northwest of Toronto. Murdoch Mysteries has filmed there several times and it was the base for the classic Canadian kids' show The Forest Rangers http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057750/?ref_=ttloc...

Thanks for mentioning my comment, folks. Should you be interested in any other shows which were broadcasted here in Israel so you could borrow ideas for the next time, just let me know. :)
Gordon
Gordon, fire away, any ideas you have. Rachel, always a pleasure. Good to see you Jamie, Greg, I might do the Forest Rangers at some point, I watched the heck out of that show as a kid.

I'll divide it into two lists, both are-of course-only partial: Shows which were a hit in Israel: Time Tunnel (which you've already done, but what about Lost in Space/Land of the Giants?). The Prisoner (You've done this as well, yet it's my feeling that it deserves more than 10 minutes). Are You Being Served. The Champions (1968-1969). My own suggested favorites: Sanford and Son. Welcome Back, Kotter. Twilight Zone (original). Night Gallery. Mister Ed. Taxi.

Black and white with a flying saucer makes me think "Lost in Space"... Hey, did you ever do Lost in Space?
Rachel
While watching the big Jays win over the Rangers yesterday, I believe I saw an unruly fan heave 'Fish: The Complete Series' onto the field. Not cool, guys.
Sam
I still love Project UFO!
