Of the six, I sort of remember Truth or Consequences and I think The Joker's Wild, but the real memory is of watching all those game shows when home sick. Nowadays all they have on during the day, it often seems, is judge shows, which are far more unwatchable! Game shows were perfect when anyone, child or adult, was home with a flu or whatever, when you didn't want to have your brain strained! Good times...

Indeed Rachel. I think that game shows have also been replaced with so called 'competition' shows. I mean I like Top Chef and the Amazing Race (and Hell's Kitchen is a guilty pleasure) but beyond Jeopardy those shows are gone.

Agreed, Dave. I think the daytime game shows were replaced by "courtroom" shows, and the evening game shows were replaced by competition shows. Except, of course, for Jeopardy!, which I still watch every chance I get.
