You can't enjoy every stop on the Best Episode Ever express......
Dave
I enjoyed recording this one, we had a lot of fun., and yeah, the the Bloopers theme song still annoys me.
Bob Goyetche
I'm afraid I never heard of The Great Grape Ape. (Magilla Gorilla, now, I remember. I even remember the whole theme song!) On the other hand, I completely remember both the Waltons and the TV Bloopers show--not that I remember watching them, because I don't think I did, but I remember them! (Okay, that's a slight exaggeration--I think I probably watched the bloopers show a few times, but I don't remember anything about it, really.) Now, I know that a dab'll do ya, although I don't know HOW I know, surely I was too young for those commercials? But I know it. And I do remember the Marlboro man, and maybe even Tom Selleck as...

Long time listener, etc. etc. I love the podcast, it is one of the highlights of my drive to work and back each week. I felt compelled to finally comment here after the discussion about, of all things, The Waltons. The Waltons was my grandfather's favorite show. As he grew older and his mind began to fail, he got very stubborn about watching it. He grew up in the time period of the show, and I suppose watching it became a comfort for him. I personally never felt too strongly about the show, but I have good memories of watching it with him now that he has passed away. I hadn't thought about The Waltons for years, and when you all discussed it, it brought my grandpa to mind. I thank you for that. Also, you guys need to cover Automan, that show rocked and I want a DVD release!!
Marc
Thanks for the kind words Marc. That is a great story. I imagine some day there will be a show set in this time and I will react the same way. Automan eh...... hmmm......
Dave Brodbeck
Marc, thanks for listening. Always good to know there might be, in any given week, more people listening than recording the show! :-) I hope, when I'm older, they finally make a Dazed and Confused TV series. -- anth
