What do you get when you mix Eastwood's Firefox with a liberal dash of Scheider's Blue Thunder and a lead charcter who's half Batman, half Michael Knight?

Anthony, a super and pretty much fair Audio Blog, however need to correct a few little things you said:

No "Whisper Mode" on original Airwolf series (1-3). That was a steal for the Canadian 4th Season only from Blue Thunder.

The Batcave idea (for "The Lair" where they kept the chopper) was actually pinched from the original 1974 Cathy Lee Crosby-starring failed Pilot episode/TV Movie for WONDER WOMAN, a few years before Linda's version. Also Archangel's white suit came from Ricardo Montalban's character (who kept his helicopter in a volcano) on that called Abner Smith.

Synths were there from the start, rather than pure Orchestral to Synth. Sylvester Levay combined orchestral & synth from the first second of the opening of the Pilot episode.

The top 15 Airwolf episodes (as voted by the show's fans back in the day) were actually: http://airwolfthemes.com/airwolf_top_15_episodes.html

Mark... thanks for fleshing out the details on the show. I'm more than happy to have someone who loved the show pitch in with great pieces of information.

One of the things I love about doing these podcasts is that, being shows that are all off the air, the topic matter never gets stale and can keep getting added to.

Being Canadian... maybe that's why I remember "whisper mode" so well. :-)

Thanks for listening, and feel free to add any corrections you see fit. I record these as a past fan exercising in nostalgia. The more information, especially from people who've continued watching the shows repeatedly, makes my memories even sharper and sometimes even inspires me to watch again.
