Most of the unexpected deaths that I can think of you already talked about. The only one you didn't discuss that sprang almost immediately to mind was a character death (the actor is, so far as I know, is currently a successful producer and director)--Professor Gary Shepherd on thirtysomething. That was a real shocker for me, right up there with Henry Blake's death on MASH.

Oh course there was John Candy. Though that was after he'd left tv for movies.

the one that really got me was robin willams and another that got me was a carachter played on general hospital the charcters name was Cheryl Stansbury I was shocked and stunned and everything else over that one. there is one more I just thought of the massacre at mcdonalds in California in 1984 my brother was a witness in that one scary as shit. just people enjoying a day at one of the happiest places on earth and that one thing changed everything very sad.
