SO MANY Scrooges...I do remember the Rich Little version--my dad liked Rich Little--so it must have shown up on network television at some point. (Or at least sections of it must have.)
Gracie Allen WAS brilliant! Which George Burns constantly boasted of, he was her biggest booster. He used to describe their act as him saying, "What have you been doing, Gracie" and letting her go for half an hour. And their tv show was one of the earliest to break the 4th wall, he would talk directly to the audience.
I think an Odd Couple Christmas Carol could have been hysterical--they could have fought over which of them was Scrooge, for starters.
