Owen Marshall, Councillor at Law - At first, I thought there might have been a remake or update. I recognize it. I shouldn't know this show, but I do remember the name because of Lee Majors's connection to it.
The Magician was referenced in The X-Files as the show young Fox Mulder wanted to watch when his sister is abducted.
1979-87 TV was my introduction to cable and American shows. With just the one set, it's hard to believe I got to see as many shows. I watched all these regularly:
Remington Steele, Vegas, Magnum PI, Matt Houston, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Charlie's Angels, B.J. and the Bear, CHiPs, Emergency, Fame, Dallas, Cagney and Lacey, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Bionic Woman, Wonder Woman, The Fall Guy, Knight Rider, Lou Grant, Tucker's Witch, Little House on the Prairie, Eight is Enough, The Dukes of Hazzard, The A-Team, Whiz Kids, The Greatest American Hero, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Hotel, Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek The Next Generation
Trapper John, MD was a spin-off of the the movie MASH. Gregory Harrison plays the young studly doctor who lives in a trailer in the parking lot. Incidentally, TV Trapper Wayne Rogers who didn't want to be in the series later plays a doctor in the sitcom House Calls.
Heather Thomas was in The Fall Guy, not Heather Locklear.
